Rolling tanks, expansion tanks, new bridges, maintenance. In the Marche region, and in particular in Senigallia and Valmisa, 34 works and two services are underway for 130 million in spending to mitigate the flood risk after the 2022 flood risk. The planning of some of these works has already started. From the total sum, 113 million are financed with flood funds and 17 million with funds from the Ministry of the Environment. Illustrating the plan was the commissioner and president of the Region Francesco Acquaroli, underlining “the importance of the phase that is opening because after a year and eight months an extraordinary plan for structural and infrastructural works has been approved”, for the mitigation of risk and the extraordinary maintenance and hydraulic arrangement of the Misa, Nevola and Cesano rivers, and of all the areas that were affected by the events of September 2022. The main reassurance is that the Region “will continue to work in this direction because the security of the territory is a of priorities in a region where hydrogeological instability risks being a problem for the safety of the territory and the citizens who live there”.
