The Realme C65 5G is official: it is a new low-end smartphone that allows the use of the new generation mobile network

Realme has officially unveiled the new one Realme C65 5G. This is the latest addition to the brand’s range which enriches the C series, dedicated to the low end of the market, with a product that recalls the higher end models in design, such as the Realme 12 Pro, and which offers the 5G to a very affordable price albeit with some compromises on the memory allocation and, above all, the display resolution.

Realme C65 5G: technical characteristics

The new Realme C65 5G is equipped with a display of 6.74 inches with resolution HD+ and refresh rate of 120Hz. The display has a hole for the front camera. The smartphone includes the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC: The chip was announced last week by MediaTek and aims to offer good performance and capabilities also use 5G for low-end smartphones.

Also noteworthy is the presence of 4/6 GB of RAM (with the possibility of adding up to 6 GB of virtual RAM) e 128 GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD) as well as a 5,000 mAh. There is no SUPERVOOC fast charging: the maximum power is 15 W. Despite the eye-catching circular rear module, the smartphone only has a rear camera, with a sensor from 50 Megapixels, and an auxiliary sensor for calculating depth. The front camera is 8 Megapixel.

On the side frame there is the fingerprint sensor. The connectivity sector includes 5G, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3 as well as the NFC chip, Dual SIM support and the 3.5 mm jack. The operating system is Android 14 with Realme UI. The manufacturer guarantees two major updates for the smartphone, which will therefore arrive at Android 16, and three years of security patches (the updates will arrive until 2027). The smartphone has IP54 certification and measures 165.6 x76.1 x 7.89 mm, for a total weight of 190 grams.

Realme C65 5G: price and availability

The new Realme C65 5G is available immediately in India, with the possibility to choose between two colors (Feather Green and Glowind Black) e three combinations of RAM and storage (4/64GB, 4/128GB and 6/128GB). Prices are included between 10,499 and 12,499 rupees (around 120-140 euros). For the moment, Realme has not revealed information regarding a possible marketing of the smartphone in Europe.

We remind you that in Italy the Realme C65 4G with MediaTek Helio G88, up to 8/256 GB of memory, Full HD+ display and 33 W fast charging, which costs 199 euros, for the 6/128 GB version, and 229 euros, for the 8/256 GB version. If it arrives in Italy, the new C65 5G should be at a slightly higher price level.
