At the 26th Far East Film Festival today the spotlight is on the awarding of the Golden Mulberry to the Taiwanese producer Chiu Fu-sheng, curator of the restoration of 5 masterpieces of Far Eastern cinema: The Mission by Johnnie To, Vivere! and Red Lanterns by Zhang Yimou, The Master Puppeteer and City of Sorrow by Hou Hsiao-Hsien.

Far East Film will present the world premiere on May 2 of the versions restored by Chiu Fu-sheng of Red Lanterns and Vivere! by Zhang Yimou, the Chinese filmmaker who will be in Udine on the same day to receive the Golden Mulberry for Lifetime Achievement.
