Although not much is known about The White Lotus – season 3the next season of the acclaimed series The White Lotus of HBO, the star Carrie Coon he stated that the central theme of the show is that of death.
Speaking with Vanity Fair, the Carrie Coon said he couldn’t say much about the series, but praised its “international cast” and said the show plays with a lot of interesting dynamics. One in particular, as already touched upon previously, is death.
“It’s a huge cast. It’s an international cast. And I think it’s playing with some really interesting dynamics“Coon said. “I think it’s something he would continue to do if they let him, because I think he’d like to get bigger and more international and bring together weirder groups of people – that’s what he’s passionate about. And I think that’s important in this world, to see people clashing with each other like this“.
Coon said the show continues to satirize the world of the ultra-rich, and while the last two seasons have been about money and sex, this one focuses entirely on death.
“He’s obviously satirizing rich white people, and he’s doing it very well. He’s speaking to people who need to be heard in a really interesting way“Coon said. “It had a season about money and a season about sex. And this is her season on death. So we are in this Buddhist country. It clashes with some things in my life right now that are really interesting to think about, and so I feel incredibly gratified. And my family is incredibly stressed“.

More details on the third season of Mike White’s hit anthology series The White Lotus remain secret. According to what was previously reported, in the property of White Lotus “a multigenerational band” will enter, including “a patriarch, a female business executive, an actress, a couple of mothers, a country club wife, a misfit and a yogi“.
Charlotte Le Bon will play a role previously entrusted to Francesca Corney. Also Julian Kostov will star in the series, in an as yet undisclosed role, after HBO severed ties with Miloš Biković.
The show, currently in production in Thailand, will also welcome new cast members, including Jason Isaacs, Christian Friedel, Dom Hetrakul, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Tayme Thapthimthong, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius and Lisa from BLACKPINK.
