Mayor Riccardo Gullo, in recent days, met with Regional Budget Councilor Marco Falcone. An institutional meeting between public administrators, which is part of the correct collaboration between institutions, in harmony with constitutional principles. On this occasion the Mayor represented to the Councilor the needs of the community he represents, all Aeolians, without distinction of political affiliation.
But, as sometimes happens, the news was spread peppered with interpretations and hypotheses that were, to say the least, imaginative and far-fetched.
And so, while we exercise patience (of which we are now masters) let’s clarify what is obvious: the Gullo Administration is slavishly observing the program presented to the voters which, as declared from day one, provides for a mid-term check on the work of the Administration. A moment of reflection and discussion which, as always, will follow the assembly method.
All the rest of the conjectures and political fantasy strategies, including hypotheses of party entries and exits, are not part of the way of acting of the current Administration, but possibly of purely individual choices and not shared by the Administration in office.
The “Gullo method”, with assemblies, public debates, and constant information, is based on absolute transparency, coherence and responsibility; personal strategies and party agreements do not fall within this method, nor do they concern Mayor Gullo’s way of operating.
