Article 32 of the Constitution: “The Republic protects health as a fundamental right of the individual and interest of the community, and guarantees free treatment to the indigent”.
The National Health Service (NHS) was established on this principle, massacred over the years by various legislative reforms and arriving at the current proposal, being approved in Parliament, of Differentiated Autonomy which will put a tombstone on all our rights , not only those related to health, not to forget the negligible funding for public health while we are witnessing an increase in funds allocated for armaments and the replenishment of the owners of private healthcare.
We titled the event “Quale Sanità Per Quale Salute” to address various aspects from health to social ones, from environmental ones to civil rights ones which constitute the points of the platform developed by the Forum For the Right to Health of the Italian Left and Democratic Medicine for the relaunch of the National Health Service which returns to guaranteeing constitutionally guaranteed rights.
We will also address issues related to healthcare in our ASLRM4 territory.
