The cold pushes the prices of pears: Chilean Abate quoted at €3.50/kg

At the Bergamo wholesale market, as in all of Northern Italy, winter seems to have returned. The public’s interest is directed towards products typical of the colder period, such as pears.
Currently the market for this fruit is dominated by foreign products and the prices, especially for Abate Fétel, are quite high, so much so that they do not differ too much from the prices recorded for the Italian product.
