The accident
The accident reconstructed by Gazzettino occurred in the night between last Monday and Tuesday on a notoriously busy road, the Triestina, where Loredana’s Fiat Panda suddenly invaded the opposite lane, colliding with a Toyota Yaris and causing a rear-end collision with a Chevrolet SUV. The consequences of the accident were fatal for the 57-year-old, who was first taken to the “Città del Piave” hospital in San Donà and then transferred to the Angelo in Mestre, where she died.

Loredana Corona worked in a bank, in a branch in Favaro, where she lived with her husband Paolo Cacciatori and two children, Lisa and Pierluigi. The woman’s funeral took place in the church of San Benedetto, the same one that a few days later welcomed her family and friends for the final farewell to her mother Domenica.
