Koningsdag in Azzate: an explosion of orange for the Dutch festival!

Sunday 5 May 2024 the Belvedere of Azzate is tinged with orange for the traditional Koningsdag, the national holiday of the Netherlands. An unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in Dutch culture and experience a day of fun, music and good food.

Program full of events

• From 10:00: Vrijmarkt, a flea market dedicated to young exhibitors from Azzate, the Netherlands and Belgium.
• 2.00 pm: Charity charm in favor of the Nursery School Foundation.
• Throughout the day: Games for children, music with DJ until 6pm.

Dutch flavors to enjoy

• Delicious typical dishes such as meatballs, fried hot dogs, biscuits and stuffed waffles, and the inevitable Heineken beer.
• For taste lovers, a special and unique ice cream: Stroopwafels, created in collaboration with the master ice cream makers of Azzate.

An opportunity for solidarity

• The proceeds from the event will be used to finance charitable projects in the area, such as the creation of the “il Tulipano – de Tulp” fountain, the giant chessboard in the municipal villa and English courses for nursery schools in Azzate.
