Under the new Tudor management, the Japanese player is finding more and more space and confirmation, both in terms of minutes played and in terms of performance. With the Croatian coach on the bench he was always a starter. In the last match against Verona, as reported by Corriere dello Sport, he achieved some records: 11.8 kilometers travelled, total touches of the ball (83 together with Luis), touches of the ball in the opponent’s area (8), possessions gained ( 8) and duels attempted (15), two opportunities created (one for Guendouzi and one for Pedro), two interceptions, two tackles, three fouls conceded and three made.
All these data demonstrate Kamada’s growth and his presence in the heart of the race, a rare aspect in the previous months, but also sprints and restarts. He builds actions in front of the defense and then finds himself ready to finish in the opponent’s area. Tudor’s arrival put him back at the center of Lazio and restored his confidence, but the future is in the hands of the Japanese. The Croatian coach hopes to be able to count on the Japanese midfielder again next season. Lazio hopes that Kamada decides to enforce the clause so as to trigger the renewal until 2027.
