According to media sources in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army carried out intense artillery attacks against the eastern areas of Rafah and Khan Yunis in the south.
Israeli tanks shelled several neighborhoods in northern Gaza, while airstrikes targeted the town of az-Zawaida and a stretch of land in al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
The Israeli army continued to launch attacks across Gaza, killing and wounding several citizens.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said on Sunday that Israel has committed seven massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, killing at least 66 civilians and wounding over 138, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of buildings. bombed or on the streets.
In a statement, the Health Ministry said the Israeli army killed and injured several civilians in various areas of Gaza over the past 24 hours, but only 204 of them, including 66 dead, were transported to hospitals.
The ministry added that the death toll from Israeli bombings and attacks, which began on October 7, has risen to 34,454 dead and 77,575 injured.
The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation by Hamas’s armed wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, was launched on 7 October.
In addition to the large number of casualties and enormous displacement of people, supplies of food, fuel, water and basic medicines have dried up for the 2.3 million residents of Gaza due to Israel’s tight blockade and massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.
