THE ACCIDENT
According to an initial reconstruction carried out by the Carabinieri of the Padua Company, a Ford and a BMW with young occupants on board collided. It seems that the impact was caused by a sudden braking of the BMW resulting in a rear-end collision with the car following it. Numerous witnesses attended the scene: we are in the center of the town and numerous residents took to the streets to find out what had happened. Traffic on the stretch of road affected by the crash was closed to users to allow operators to complete individual activities in complete safety. One of them was seriously injured, but his life is not in danger.

Three roundabouts will be built quickly with the firm aim of making traffic flow more freely, but above all to limit excess speed and therefore reduce the risk of accidents. It is among the prerogatives of our municipal administration to protect the safety of users and avoid bloodshed. I am convinced that roundabouts will be a winning choice.”
In the meantime, the police forces, coinciding with the arrival of the summer and the consequent increase in vehicles in transit during the evening and night hours, will further strengthen patrols with the ultimate aim of avoiding serious road accidents.
