Tragic accident in the mountains, Andrea Bonetti from Carpiano dies at just 40 years old

Tragic accident on Friday in the Reggio Emilia Apennines, where 40-year-old Andrea Bonetti from Carpiano lost his life after falling off a cliff. The funeral has not yet been officially scheduled, but it should be held on Tuesday at 3.30 pm in the church of Santa Maria del Carmine in Melegnano where Andrea’s family still lives, having spent most of their life in the city on the Lambro. While walking along a path on the Pietra di Bismantova mountain in the Reggio Emilia Apennines, the 40-year-old lost his balance before slipping off a cliff. Despite desperate attempts to save his life, unfortunately there was nothing that could be done: the news of his death was immediately greeted with deep condolences in the Melegnano area, where the Bonetti family is well known. «With a cheerful and cheerful character, Andrea had a good word for everyone – friends and acquaintances said moved -. We were truly astonished by the news of his death which occurred in such sudden and dramatic circumstances.
