Assane Kane died in the building that housed the bowling alley in Olbia.

In September two years ago Assane Kanea 53-year-old Senegalese worker, had fallen from the roof of the buildingtable that hosted bowling in Olbia. According to the reconstruction made by the judges, the owner of the building, Giovanni Antonio Altana, had commissioned the Senegalese to clean the building’s gutter. And the Senegalese had accepted the job.

Kane then climbed onto the roof of the building on the agreed day and time, but made one wrong step. The man had in fact passed over a plexiglass skylight that had literally crumbled at the time of his passage. The worker was therefore fallen to the ground from a height of 8 meters, immediately showing serious injuries. Transported to hospital Most Holy Annunziata of Sassari, remained in agony for a month before his death. A story that had great resonance in the city, where Assane Kane he was very well known

There Public Prosecutor’s Office of Tempio would have ascertained that during the works the worker would not have any security device. Therefore, as we read in La Nuova Sardegna, the temple prosecutor has closed the investigation making a charge of manslaughter.
