TRENT. There “fucina Off” will debut on May 2nd at 6.30pm at the Villazzano Theater and will kick off the Tabù Festival (from 2nd to 11th May) in a completely innovative way: for the first time the stage will become a small living room in which spectators, sitting on comfortable sofas, will be able to attend moments of entertainment and discussion enjoying the beers of the Fòravia brewery-beer firm of Trento.
This innovative format entitled “Spin-on Spin-off” belonging to the Festival, takes shape from the union of two concepts, the first determined by the verb “to spin” that is “draw (beer)” followed by the English adverb “on” used many times to express it state as a function of an action (start pouring beers), together with the word “Spin off” often used during the recording of television series to indicate aor smaller and more intimate space where only a small part of the audience can access it.
The aim of the organizers is to also propose a alternative meeting moment formulated in an informal aperitif in the company of young actors and actresses from Trentino and beyond who will bring all their artistic expression to the stage.
“We wanted to experiment with an attractive modality to bring together young people and beyondalso to make the theater a place of sharing also extended to non-attending students. Between theatrical performances and poured beers, it will be a interesting way to experience theatre which can be proposed more often in the future” the words of Elisa Galter, representative of the theater’s organizational staff and co-director of the Tabù Festival.
The evening’s program will include an initial reading interpreted by Beatrice Elena Festi: “A show for those living in times of extinction” by author Miranda Rose Hall. Later you can watch the talk show by stand-up comedians Andrea Visibelli and Jacopo Pagliari: “Boundaries: death in Shakespeare’s work” and to conclude the event will be the much awaited show “Memori” by Giulio Macrì and Nicola Lorusso. The common thread that unites all the works and gives the title to each edition of the event contains a “taboo” theme for society, that is, a topic considered uncomfortableforgotten or urgent which is expressed through the language of contemporary art for give voice to what is not easy to represent or explain.
