The captain of the second star, the goal-driving force behind Inter towards the Scudetto, the soul of the Nerazzurri group. He could only be Lautaro Martinez the protagonist of the interview for the Inter-Turin Matchday Programme, the match that precedes the celebration for the conquest of the twentieth national title. Il Toro talks about his passions, obviously for football but also for… mathematics, explaining: “Since I was a child I have faced every challenge with the aim of growing up, I left home at 15/16 years old chasing a dream and step by step I achieved many goals that I had always wanted. Every stage and every start was precious: the first goal for Racing, the first for the national team, the first for Inter…Since I arrived in Milan. I found people who loved me and helped me and fans who supported us everywhere with the same force.”

Lautaro indicates 2021 and 2023 as important dates twice: “They are the dates of the birth of my children; they changed my life, it’s as if I were reborn too. And then about my marriage, Agustina has always been close to me from day one and it made me better.” And then, the day of winning the World Cup with Argentina (“A source of pride, for my family, for our country”) and, inevitably, on 22 April 2004: “An unforgettable day that we earned with a lot of work thanks to an incredible group and magnificent fans”. Among the qualities he considers important, there is the desire to always improve: “Since I was a child, it has always accompanied me”.
