Stories around the fire: conference at the civic museum

The Integrated Territorial System of Museums, Libraries and Archives of Sabina and Cicolano proposes two new conferences of the cycle “Places, stories and characters of Simbas”.

The next appointment is scheduled for Friday 3 May at 5pm at the Civic Museum of Rieti – Archaeological section, with the conference “The Rieti area seen by Varrone” curated by Flavio Serva, with the aim of presenting the Municipal Library of Contigliano .

On Saturday 4 May, however, the first of the conferences of the “Stories around the fire” cycle will be staged.

In this series of conferences, with a more strictly scientific approach, the theme of fire is treated in its various semantic aspects.

Civic Museum: admissions increasing in the two-year period 2022-2023

The series of conferences “Stories around the fire” was born precisely from this need to explore the multiplicity of nuances in which fire is the protagonist.

Also in this case the appointment is at 5pm at the Civic Museum of Rieti – Archaeological section, which will host the meeting entitled “The sacred fire. Pagan roots and popular rites” edited by Roberto della Ceca, scholar of cultural anthropology.
