Despite the weather forecast, the first day of “Carugi in fiore” took place yesterday in Dolceacqua, where a jury of technicians toured the 13 compositions, this year’s theme is the ‘Games of the past’. The objectives:
⁃ enhancement of the common heritage;
⁃ promotion of environmental values and the culture of greenery as an element of decoration and mitigation of spaces;
⁃ enhancement and increase of knowledge of the municipal territory and its architecture;
⁃ raising awareness of the environment through knowledge of flowers.
These are the winners:
1st Ivonne Raimondo – Agriturismo Stecadò with the composition N. 9, wins the prize donated by the “La Pasta di U” restaurant
2nd Alessia Campisi, Lorenzo Debernardi, Alessandra Ori and Alex Spiteri of the E. Ruffini D. Aicardi Agricultural Institute of Sanremo with the composition N. 7, win the prize donated by “Pizzeria il Borgo”
3rd Francesca Raffo – Alimentari Francesca with the composition N. 2, wins the prize donated by the “Bar Doria”
Originality Award to Patrizia Perrino – B&B U Campanin and Michela Ferraro – Casa i Ciarui with composition n° 13 win the prize donated by Gelateria Monet
Councilor Jacques Pastor took part in this year’s jury as a representative of the municipality of Monaco. The other jurors: Beatrice Guglielmi, professional florist; Giulia Ferrari, architect and photographer; Jamila Chilà, president of the Dolceacqua Cultural and Recreational Center; Oreste Polidori, artist; Virginia Fazio, sculptor; Elisabetta Giraldi, architect; Christian Terribili, president of the Zuveni Carrista Company of Santa Marta.
