Activate a table that involves all stakeholders, in order to promote compliance with the law and attention to the prevention of accidents through different points of view. This is the intention of the mayor of Gorizia Rodolfo Ziberna after the meeting held in recent days with the main representatives of the trade unions and employers’ organizations in which the main objective is safety on construction sites. “Gorizia presents itself as the leader of an action aimed at bringing attention to a dramatically current issue” underlines Ziberna, who together with the unions wants to undertake a complex path, also involving the prefect Raffaele Ricciardi, in order to give life to a table that involves all the parties involved, from those who operate to those who must carry out the checks.
“A particularly heartfelt initiative on the part of the Municipality – adds Ziberna – which in view of GO! 2025 intends to address the thousand facets of culture, therefore also with reference to that of safety”. The municipal councilors for Public Works and Personnel, Sarah Filisetti and Giulio Daidone, also took part in the meeting held in recent days. The intent – concludes Ziberna – is also to be an example as a laboratory for cross-border relations, in order to avoid the possibility of rules being disregarded perhaps due to lack of knowledge.
