Accident on the evening of Thursday 25 April Campodarsegoalong the regional road 307 at the intersection with via Cinganame.
Shortly after 10pm, a Lancia Y driven by a young man from Vigonza violently hit a Toyota carrying a family from the province of Venice who was stopped at the intersection. A third car coming in the opposite direction was also involved. The latter, a company car from a company in Camposampiero, was hit after the rear-end collision by the Lancia Y and ended up in the side ditch.
The firefighters of the Borgoricco detachment intervened on site and made the area and the vehicles safe.
All those involved were unharmed. The agents of the Local Police of the Federation arrived to investigate the road accident.
The three drivers of the vehicles involved were subjected to alcohol test. The young man driving the Lancia Y, which caused the accident, tested positive and that he was found with a blood alcohol level more than double the maximum allowed for driving. The young man was like that reported for driving while intoxicated and his driving license was withdrawn by the local Federation Police. His family members arrived on site to take him home.
