John 14.1-6
From the Gospel according to John
At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: «Do not let your hearts be troubled. Have faith in God and have faith in me too. In my Father’s house there are many mansions. If not, would I have ever said to you: “I’m going to prepare a place for you”? When I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to be with me, so that where I am you may be also. And of the place where I go, you know the way.”
Thomas said to him: «Lord, we do not know where you are going; How can we know the way?”. Jesus said to him: «I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
