Livorno, 7 May 2024 – The paradise for lovers of construction and Lego bricks It has a name and a specific place: Eden at the Mascagni Terrace. The tensile structure recalls the amusement park that was built at the end of the 19th century on what was at the time the Esplanade dei Cavalleggeri.

To celebrate it, until May 19th the Lem Foundation has stuffed a calendar of events for all tastes and age groups.

Saturday and Sunday will be the turn of the Lego BOSS “Bricks On the Seaside”: “After the exhibition on Fender guitars and the 5e5 Day, an event dedicated mainly to children and adults who still feel a bit like children – declares Adriano Tramonti – As the Lem Foundation we are making the 800 square meters of the tensile structure available which will literally be filled with the exhibitors’ creations. Lorenzo Valdambrini, one of the organizers of the initiative, observes: “The event is not in direct collaboration with Lego, but organized by us at Leghorn Bricks: an unofficial group of enthusiasts from Livorno who, after having dealt with Lego as children, they returned to using them thanks to the launch of the Expert, Creator and Technics series dedicated to adults. we have planned a real tour itinerary through thematic pavilions: Space, medieval sections, City, children. This is the largest free event of this type ever organized in Livorno.”

Another organizer is Lucio Vannucchi: “51 exhibitors met in Livorno from all over Italy, including Lombardy, Piedmont, Marche, Umbria, Campania and from the hard core of collectors from Tuscany. Playing with Lego as adults allows adults to present MOCs, an acronym for My Own Creation, or original creations. Among these, those of Davide Nassi, one of our affiliates, who reproduced some monuments of Livorno such as Santa Caterina, the Duomo, Castel Boccale”.
