The first PS1 project dates back to 1988, thanks to the collaboration with Nintendo. It was necessary to wait six years to see it on the market: in December 1994 it arrived in Japan and just under a year later in Europe and the United States. The launch of the PS1 was a real revolution in the world of video games.
Many people have become interested in games thanks to the PlayStation: over the years, Sony has introduced many other models which have gradually guaranteed increasingly important improvements. Even today, however, video game enthusiasts remain very attached to the first PlayStation and its historic games. Metal Gear Solid, for example, but also Final Fantasy VII and many other titles who really left their mark.
But how much does the first version of the PlayStation cost today? A used model but still working and in good condition a price that varies between 50 and 150 euros. Clearly, if controllers and games are also present, the cost can rise up to 200-250 euros. If the PS1 is sold without packaging the price can drop even up to 40 euros.

Conversely, a PlayStation 1 still sealed in its original packaging can be sold at a higher price. In some cases the value can even reach 1,000 eurosbut it must be in really excellent condition.
And what about the PSone? The more compact version of the PlayStation 1 comes with a price around 50 eurosbut if still kept in the sealed box its value can reach up to 600 euros.
