“The controversy over the lack of a quorum is sterile and instrumental, the left once again demonstrates that it is only interested in going to the newspapers to attack the centre-right. In their eagerness to attack us, however, they forgot to say that among those absent were councilors Marchi and Morgagni, who support Rinaldini”, so the municipal coordinator of Brothers of Italy Vincenzo Bongiorno and the FdI municipal councilor Fabrizio Ragni, regarding the failure to hold the final session of the Flood Commission on 23 April.
“The Meloni government, in less than 12 months after the flood, has already compensated 100% of the emergency sums, thus securing the budgets of local authorities; it then allocated 3.5 billion to secure the territory and therefore remedy decades of failure to maintain it by the left that has governed our Region for 50 years, and also began to compensate private individuals – highlights Bongiorno -. “And with the government, Fratelli d’Italia has also always shown the utmost attention to flood victims and has always been at the forefront in post-flood management – underlines the municipal coordinator of FdI – Our councilor Ragni actively participated in all the sessions, bringing home concrete results, such as the self-certification criterion for obtaining refreshments“. Ragni specifies: “Yesterday’s transition was purely formal. The commission, in fact, has already acquired all the necessary elements and will report to the city council on Monday 29 April”.
“The fact that a special commission on the flood has been established testifies to all the attention that even the centre-right majority at the helm of Forlì has given to the matter, with the constructive intention of examining it further, staying close to the flood victims, encouraging them to finally put into security the territory – add the two FdI exponents –. These continuous exploitations by the left are real acts of political profiteering against the flood victims who we send back to the sender. We continue to work so that citizens and businesses also receive compensation as soon as possible for the damage caused by an incompetent left – conclude Bongiorno and Ragni – responsible for terrible management of the territory which significantly accentuated the effects of the flood”.
