The President of the FIP, Gianni Petrucci, is certainly much better and we are all extremely happy with this situation. The hope is that he can return to 100% soon so we can see him on the basketball courts and alongside our Italy.

In reference to the car accident involving Gianni Petrucci last April 6, the FIP announces that the federal President today left the Columbus hospital in Rome where he spent a few days convalescing after resigning from the San Camillo Hospital .
President Petrucci would like to warmly thank the leaders of Columbus in the persons of Professor Francesco Landi, director of the Department of Aging, Orthopedic and Rheumatological Sciences, his first assistant Doctor Vincenzo Brandi and all the medical and nursing staff who with extreme professionalism and courtesy have provided assistance to him and his wife Raffaela, allowing them to continue their post-accident recovery in the best possible way.
Our hope and that of all Italbasket lovers is that this accident remains only as a bad memory and that it will soon be overcome.
