As regards the bonus for electricity and gas, the requirements vary. On the electricity bonus, however, the ISEE must not exceed 9,530 euros. However, for families with at least four dependent children, this limit rises to 20,000 euros. The amount of the bonus varies based on the number of members of the family unit: the more children there are, the higher the quarterly bonus will be, which fluctuates around 163.80 euros, for a total of around 655 euros per year for a family with four children.
As regards the gas bonus, the ISEE limit remains the same (9,530 euros), but rises to 20,000 euros for large families. However, the bonus amount also varies based on the type of gas use and the climate zone in which you live. This bonus is not fixed, but fluctuates every quarter, with amounts tending to increase during the winter months, when consumption is highest.
For example, a large family that uses gas for various needs, such as hot water, cooking food and heating, and resides in a climate zone D, can receive up to 360.36 euros per year as a gas bonus.
Ultimately, a family unit with more than four members, with an ISEE income of less than 9,530 euros and who lives in a climate zone D, can benefit from an electricity bonus of 655.20 euros and a gas bonus of 360.36 euros , for a total of around 1015 euros per year for bills, offering significant support to deal with energy costs.
