How to become an accountant. Profitable meeting between the Order and students of Consorzio Uno

A fruitful morning in contact with the professionals of tomorrow, to discover the vast world contained within the profession of the Chartered Accountant. The first meeting of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Oristano with the students of UNO – the University of Oristano – ended successfully. The Faculty of Economics and Business Management (EGA) of the University of Cagliari has in fact activated the Economics and Management of Tourist Services (EGST) course in the decentralized location, once completed, students can contemplate continuing their career as a chartered accountant. .

“The Chartered Accountant is a very important figure for the productive world and the institutions who address businesses and citizens. It has existed for a very long time but was recognized as an autonomous and authoritative institution only in 2005 and over time it has adapted to changing needs. Today the market requires trained and perfected professionals in the various sectors, who know how to give in-depth and detailed answers and we have been ready for the challenges of innovation and changing markets – explained the president of the Order, Giuseppina Uda -. We are here to tell you that this is a difficult profession but one that can offer a lot of satisfaction and is currently able to offer important professional opportunities to graduates in economics”.

The meeting was included in the calendar of initiatives that are involving Orders and Faculties throughout Italy, and could only be proposed also in Oristano where the Order can count on associates linked by strong ideals, values and winning collaborations, and where the Outgoing level of Consorzio UNO graduates is highly appreciated. Specializing is therefore the watchword today: like the vice-president of the Order, Maria Carla Manca, who told her students about her specialization in the PNRR, for example despite arriving at the qualification late and operating in a small town in the Marmilla . The same was done by the young professional Gonario Mameli, who specialized in start-ups and who operates with 5 collaborators in Sedilo. Also unique are the experiences of Paola Perseu who works in the field of business crises and with a view to safeguarding companies in difficulty and of Tore Pontis who works and specializes in tax litigation. Finally, Giorgio Ibba’s speech, which represented an experience that began in Oristano in 1989 and which is now successfully carried out in Oristano. “From this meeting onwards – concluded the president of the Order Giuseppina Uda – the hope is to establish a profitable system of collaboration between the university and the Order, in such a way as to offer the widest range of professional opportunities possible. Special thanks to the director of the Consortium Francesco Asquer and to the coordinator of the degree course, Patrizio Monfardini, for hosting us and for welcoming our initiative with great enthusiasm”.
