As reported by La Repubblica, for the Lazio tonight’s is the match of the year, even if it resembles Everest to climb, among other things without the best equipment. Given the current ranking position, arriving in Italian Cup final it would make the judgment on a season that should have been the one of the definitive leap in quality less severe. The trouble is that the same goes for Juventus.
Tudor’s words
The Bianconeri are clear favorites given the 2-0 victory in the first leg, Lazio’s difficulties in attack and their heavy absences. Tudor, however, is not the type to give up easily, as he made clear in yesterday’s press conference:
“The team is motivated, we believe in it. Character won’t be enough, you’ll need the perfect match. The quality of the players will be decisive. I spoke at length with Castellanos, we had a nice chat to understand each other better. She has very interesting qualities that she cannot fully express, she realizes it and it weighs on her. She cares a lot about doing well, sometimes too much.”
It therefore seems that performance anxiety is affecting the Argentine, but according to Tudor it will resolve itself.
Who will take the field
Tonight it will be a relay between Taty and Immobile, initially destined for the bench. The same goes for Lazzari and Hysaja right. Marusic will be on the left, Guendouzi has been tried among the starters with Cataldi. In defense Casale, Romagnoli and Gila, with Mandas in goal. In the first leg Chiesa and Vlahovic were relentless, now they will have to be contained and then they will have to score hoping for the imagination of Anderson and Luis Alberto.
