For this reason we are trying to design motorcycles that are capable of being ecological, but at the same time can exploit thermal engines. The innovations are leading all the most important Japanese manufacturers to carry out an extraordinary project that could put petrol into retirement and at the same time find an alternative to electric power alone.

When there is a greater objective than the simple profit of a company, it is very important that the main companies are able to join forces to strengthen the sector. This can be seen in the case of Japan, because if it is true that on the market Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki they don’t limit themselves in challenges and blows with new bikes, this time they have decided to join forces.

They did this in order to increase the project that leads to the creation of hydrogen motorbikes as much as possible, a series of exceptional innovations that are contained in the project HySE. This association stands for Hydrogen Small mobility & Energy technology. We are only at the beginning of the development of these new hydrogen engines, with problems from a technical point of view obviously not lacking.

First of all, a solution must be found to ensure that the speed of propagation in front of the flame is slowed down, furthermore the width of the ignition zone must also be reduced. Each of the companies will have a very specific task, so as to be able to make the most of resources and focus individually on various objectives.

There Honda in fact it will be the one that will deal with the design of the hydrogen engine, then there will be the work Suzuki which for its part will instead take care of its functionality on the motorbike, as well as its performance and reliability. For Yamaha and Kawasaki instead the same task was entrusted, that is to carry out the tests to understand what can be obtained from these new studies which seem to be truly cutting-edge and innovative like few in history.
