Nonno Vittorio oil brings home its victory – La Gazzetta di San Severo – News from Capitanata

In the evocative setting of the San Domenico Art Gallery in Fano, the most important sector event in Italy dedicated to extra virgin olive oil was held on Saturday 20 April: The Grand Oil Gala “The Gold of Italy and the Mediterranean”.

At the awards ceremony, Alessandro Prattichizzo, representing the Nonno Vittorio company, goes on stage to collect the numerous awards testifying to the remarkable ability to produce fine oils, typical of the area.

This year too, Nonno Vittorio extra virgin olive oil was AWARDED by OLEA (Organization of the Expert Tasters Laboratory) in the oil mills section, “Medium fruity monocultivar” category, as second place in the International competition The Gold of the Mediterranean which saw the participation of companies from all oil producing countries, such as Italy obviously, but above all Spain, Greece, Tunisia, Morocco etc. and is reconfirmed, after the successes of past years, among the best oil mills at an international level.

The olive oil competition confirmed the value of Peranzana extra virgin olive oil, as the most important element of the agricultural economy of the capitanata area and a flagship product of local production, an authentic vehicle for promoting the territory in Italy and in the world.
