Carambola on the road this morning, Sunday 21 April, shortly after 11 am Spresian, in via Carducci. Driver leaves the road causes an accident and runs away for the camps to avoid undergoing an alcohol test.
It was around 11.15am when, for reasons still under investigation, a 26-year-old from Spresiano lost control of his Fiat Multipla. Two friends on board with him: a 24 year old and a 22 year old, all fellow villagers, that is were injured. The car, probably due to the strong speed, she went off the road. The intervention of the Suem 118 health workers was immediate. But while the friends were treated and transported to the Ca’ Foncello emergency room with various wounds and fractures, the 26-year-old who was driving attempted to lose your tracks in order not to undergo blood alcohol tests. The pirate was immediately tracked down by the police sitting on the ground not far from the accident site and was reported for driving while intoxicated.
The accident resulted in a second accident. Just a few minutes later, before the arrival of help and the closure of the road, a Ford Fiesta driven by a 48-year-old from Masareda sul Piave who was coming from the opposite direction, to avoid collision with the Multipla, went off the road, ending up in the ditch part of the roadway. Fortunately, both the driver of the Fiesta and his wife, sitting in the passenger seat, did not suffer any injuries. For the rest of the morning the carabinieri of the Villorba station carried out the planimetric surveys.
