The old cast iron railing with the rudders motif having been archived and disappeared (no longer up to standard due to a question of heights and safety and difficult to modify), we are still waiting for a definitive project from the Lombardy Region after the first – which moreover, no one, except in the secret rooms, had ever even seen it in the city – it had been rejected by the Superintendency. The hope is that by the end of June, after 16 years have passed since the start of work on the new lakefront and when the definitive completion of the construction site towards the lakeside gardens is expected, the people of Como will finally have news of the final appearance of the walk. But let’s go back to today.

Actually, worse: the horizontal tubes are detaching from the circular insertions, first of all giving a horrible image but above all presenting obvious safety problems, with pieces of metal dangling and potentially even sharp parts exposed. In short, there really is a need for a definitive solution after a long time.
