Laboratorio Gioia, the initiative dedicated to the 20-year-old who died in the Easter accident

Gioia Laboratory, the presentation of the initiative dedicated to Gioia Muliere, who passed away following the serious accident on Easter night.

With great emotion, last week, Sgi Formazione and Cooperativa Leonardo brought together the leaders of the educational community and the teachers of the Avezzano school complexes in the Irti Room for the presentation of the new “GIOIA” laboratory dedicated to Gioia Muliere, the girl who disappeared on Easter night in a tragic accident. The presentation saw the presence of the Mayor of Avezzano, Giovanni Di Pangrazio and Gioia’s family who made themselves available to collaborate as safety ambassadors in memory of the girl, highlighting their commitment to promoting a safer future for all. Very touching moments in the meeting, during which the well-known song “Angeli” by Vasco Rossi was also performed by the musician Francesco Di Cicco.
Specifically, the GIOIA laboratory, an anagram of Giovani Insieme, Opportunità, Informazione, Attention, is an integral part of the project “The School I Would Like”, a project selected by the social enterprise Con i Bambini as part of the Fund to combat educational poverty minor and is dedicated to primary and lower secondary school students and aims to develop awareness of road safety and the importance of social solidarity. The goal is to inspire young people to become ambassadors of safety and responsibility within their communities.
“Gioia Muliere is remembered as a symbol of what the project aims to inspire in the new generations: greater awareness and a concrete commitment towards the development of a safer and more cohesive community”, says the President of the Leonardo Cooperative Karin Sorgi.
“The laboratory and the entire project fit perfectly into the vision of a shared community commitment, essential for the social and cultural progress of the city, then underlined Simonetta Campana, representative of the SGI, the body proposing the initiative.
During the presentation, the Project representative Andrea Bruni explained the various activities of the entire project which will take place in collaboration with the schools and with the Municipality of Avezzano, the sponsoring body. The School I would like, in fact, is a project designed to combat school segregation and promote conscious and responsible behavior among young people. The meeting was moderated by the journalist Raffaele Castiglione Morelli.
