Next Sunday in Formello, Lazio Women will have the opportunity to score their first match point for promotion to Serie A. With a lead of five points and four matches still to be played, the team from Grassadonia can mathematically secure their place in the category by beating Ternana in the direct clash.

Lazio had an impressive run during the season, suffering just one defeat and coming into the match with the best defense in the championship, having only conceded 16 goals. However, the most prolific attack is that of Ternana, with 82 goals scored compared to 80 for Lazio.
In the midweek round, Ternana achieved a crucial victory against Cesena, who were equal on points and are now -3 points away. This victory consolidated Ternana’s position in second place, which guarantees the play-off against the penultimate place in the Poule Salvezza of Serie A. Ternana now aims to remain in contention for direct promotion.
A draw in Formello, similar to that of the first leg which ended 1-1 last January 14th, could give further confidence to Parma, currently third in the standings with 67 points, just -2 behind Ternana. In the postponement on Monday evening, Parma will be guests of the Pavia Academy. The fight for promotion is still exciting, also involving Cesena, who will play at home against Freedom. However, Lazio are just one win away from certainty of returning to Serie A after two years.
The picture of the twenty-eighth day is completed (with all the matches broadcast as usual on the Be.Pi. Tv YouTube channel): Tavagnacco-Arezzo (with both teams already relegated to Serie C), Bologna-Brescia, San Marino Academy-Hellas Verona, Genoa-Ravenna and H&D Chievo Women-Res Roma.
