“Liguria is the worst region in the north west in terms of safety and health” – Savonanews.it

The national demonstration organized by CGIL and UIL took place today in Rome to demand health and safety at work, to defend and relaunch public health in our country, for fair taxes and for the renewal of employment contracts and the protection
of wages.

“Workers and pensioners are the backbone of this country: with their taxes they support a large part of public services and deserve to be listened to”, said Maurizio Calà, General Secretary of Cgil Liguria and Emanuele Ronzoni, Commissioner of Uil Liguria present in the square.

A thousand demonstrators from Liguria took part in today’s protest, a collective initiative that follows that of last April 11th when, with the strike of the private sectors, CGIL and UIL brought thousands of workers and
workers, pensioners and pensioners.

“We are faced with real emergencies such as those linked to the issues of work and health – underline Calà and Ronzoni – Liguria, for example, is among the regions of the north-west where the incidence of accidents at work is very high and on the issues in terms of health, we continue to be at the rear of the neighboring regions”.
