CASTELLAMONTE – A landslide affected a road in the Benasso hamlet, in Preparetto, a hamlet of Castellamonte, today, Thursday 2 May 2024, around 5.30 pm. The Rivarolo Canavese Fire Brigade and the Mayor Pasquale Mazza intervened on site.
The road, which connects some homes, was closed for safety. Fortunately the houses are not isolated because there is an alternative route.
The consolidation interventions that can be carried out either by the private individuals themselves or by the Administration will soon be evaluated depending on whether the stretch is considered private or public. A meeting is scheduled for tomorrow in the municipality.
