Israel’s response to Iran’s attack arrived on the birthday of Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei, born on April 19, 1939. Several analysts on social media are pointing this out. Some Israeli profiles are writing mockingly: ‘Happy birthday, Khamenei.’

A senior Iranian army commander, Siavosh Mihandoust, told the country’s state TV that no damage was caused in the overnight attack. The Guardian reports it. The commander said the noise heard overnight in Esfahan was due to air defense systems targeting “suspicious objects”.

No damage occurred and the situation is normal in the army division and Esfahan airport, Mihandoust added as quoted by Tasnim. The news agency, close to the Revolutionary Guards, also cited an “informed source” according to which the air defense units were activated this morning in some cities such as Esfahan and Tabriz only due to their high sensitivity, faced with the possibility of detect any small drones.
