will be hosted by the State Archives of Matera.
At the meeting with the author, the introduction to the works will be handled by Pietro Sannelli, Director of the State Archives of Matera.

This work on the Kafkaesque narrative, between literature and philosophy, in which love in the labyrinth and circle reconciles Franz Kafka (Prague, 3 July 1883 – Kierling, 3 June 1924) with his characters in a literary and hermeneutic adventure.

Can hermeneutics have characters? Pierfranco Bruni underlines, indicating a non-obvious didactic alley that leads us “to another life and a life beyond”.
This Kafka’s Pierfranco Bruni it is a trunk that contains rebellion and revolt. Camus it’s at home. The stranger – who, who knows, could be identified with the Author himself – travels to the island and ends up in exile. In that sense, this Kafka it is also a symbolic mosaic in which the echoes and voices come from a sailor who finds himself pushed by the Homeric waves towards the return or towards the Pillars of Hercules.

As Bruni he provokes us: “Anyone who really wants to understand what I tried to say, perhaps without obviousness, read the book. I am willing to question everything in another life, in the immortal one that does not know, in my good-natured opinion, accusations, guilt and proceedings. Warranty notices are only permitted in this life. It is not the beauty that is consumed in the passing of a moment. We are the ones who delude ourselves that we can freeze the moment in an eternity. From here, nostalgia creeps into life”.
