“The Balkans and the war in Ukraine”
what future for Europe?
The collaboration of the Circolo Culturale I Marquesi del Monferrato continues with the Alpini Group of the municipality of Bruno, who on the occasion of the anniversary of April 25th, decided to offer the opportunity for a reflection on freedom and war in the light of the most recent events of international news.
The invitation is therefore to participate in the conference which will be held on Sunday 28 April, at the Alpini headquarters in Bruno, located in Piazzale Belvedere, starting from 11.00.
The central theme of the meeting will be the war in Ukraine and its repercussions in the Balkans, and starting from this point, any possible scenarios for the European situation closest to us will be analysed.
The historian Graziano Canestri, editorialist of “Il Laboratorio”, member of the Club and passionate and profound expert on the Balkan world and Eastern Europe, already author of the volume, published for the types of Echos Edizioni, entitled “Yugoslavia. The tragic mosaic”.
The meeting, introduced by the vice-president of the cultural club I Marchesi del Monferrato Angelo Soave and by the greetings of the Alpini di Bruno group leader Giovanni Attilio Bosio, includes the intervention of prof. Mario Rivera.

At the end of the conference there will be an Alpine lunch, which can be booked while places last, at a cost of €20.00
