MANTUA Tennis is knocking on the doors of schools and they seem interested in letting it in. This emerged yesterday as part of the meeting promoted by Panathlon Mantua “T. Nuvolari – L. Guerra” and took place in the Hall of Coats of Arms of Palazzo Soardi in Mantua. The initiative also had the patronage of the Municipality of Mantua, CONI and Fitp. The objective of the group led by Daniele Pagliari is to be able to involve more and more young people in this discipline which is giving the world of sport so much satisfaction at a national level in both the men’s and women’s fields. Before the moment of discussion, some promising tennis players were awarded prizes. At the speakers’ table there were, in addition to the president of Panathlon Mantua, also the provincial delegate of Coni Giuseppe Faugiana, the councilor Serena Pedrazzoli, the councilor with responsibility for sport Fabio Madella and various exponents of the racket world. Among them also Angelo Orsini, regional Fitp trustee, Ennio Avanzini, provincial delegate, with the trustee Riccardo Zenari and Filippo Avanzini coordinator of the “Racchette in Classe” project.
