PERDAXIUS | April 19, 2024. The search is still underway in Perdaxius (SU), in the Bingixedda area, for a 72-year-old woman suffering from Alzheimer’s who left her home yesterday afternoon around 4pm and never returned. It was her husband who raised the alarm. The “Missing Persons Search Plan” envisaged by the Prefecture was immediately activated, the Fire Brigade is carrying out the searches with a helicopter, a team from the Carbonia detachment, the specialist teams Tas (Topography applied to rescue), Saf (Alpine river Spleleo ), SAPR (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems), the SMZT Unit (Divers) and the Dog Unit.
Furthermore, 20 technicians from the Alpine and Speleological Rescue from the stations of Cagliari, Iglesias, Medio Campidano, Nuoro and Ogliastra are collaborating in the research – including a dog unit and three pilots of drones equipped with thermal cameras -, the Carabinieri of the Carbonia company, the volunteers of the Avdag Civil Protection of Gonnesa, of the Prociv Santadi and staff of the Shardana dog centre.
