Uniqlo and JW Anderson are back with a new collection full of relaxed looks
Descriptive text here

The style known as “laissez-faire” is, at times, easier said than done. The visual narrative “I woke up like this” or “oh, this old thing?” it is not always a guarantee of success. In fact, it’s easy to quickly go from “accidentally chic” to “day pajamas” or “weird hippie uncle.” The key to accessing this aesthetic and putting it into practice? A reliable collection of high-impact clothing. This is where Uniqlo and JW Anderson come in with their SS24 collaboration.

Dubbed “In the Artist’s Studio,” this new collection from Uniqlo and JW Anderson is a manifesto of modern everyday clothing that pays homage to iconic designs from the mid-century (and with affordable prices, for the record ). Inspired by artists’ looks, painter’s smocks and the sorts of things creatives might wear in their studio, this season’s collaboration between the king of affordable fashion, Uniqlo, and Irish design legend Jonathan Anderson is all focused on improving your daily life. But we’ll talk about this later.

Joining forces once a season to bring these goodies, the Uniqlo x JW Anderson release is now highly anticipated. Speaking about the ongoing collaboration, Jonathan Anderson admitted that the enthusiasm for working with Uniqlo never ends: «Over the years we have established a collaborative relationship with Uniqlo, in which each collection builds on the previous one. There is a place for everything in creativity.”

That place, it seems, can be found in this season’s series of simple silhouettes and neutral-toned graphics. Made up of loose jackets, incredibly relaxed tailoring, linen trousers and striped t-shirts, this season’s selection is based on the visual code that the two partners have established over their seven years of collaboration, combining elegance with daily comfort. Or, as Anderson says, a capsule full of ideas, inspired by “the great models of the British mid-century period”.
