The Anpi (Provincial Committee of Foggia) in collaboration with the municipality of San Nicandro Garganico and the Fondazione dei Monti Uniti of Foggia, organized a very important cultural event on the mothers of our constitutional charter.
21 women who stood out for their commitment and who, thanks to their contribution, contributed to having a modern and current constitution today.
They are Adele Bei, Bianca Bianchi, Laura Bianchini, Elisabetta Conci, Maria De Unterrichter Jervolino, Filomena Delli Castelli, Maria Federici Agamben, Nadia Gallico Spano, Angela Gotelli, Angela Guidi Cingolani, Nilde Iotti, Teresa Mattei, Angelina Merlin, Angiola Minella Molinari, Rita Montagnana, Maria Nicotra Verzotto, Teresa Noce, Ottavia Penna Buscemi, Elettra Pollastrini, Maria Maddalena Rossi and Vittoria Titomanlio.
Among the various constitutional principles in favor of women, they deserve recognition for having ensured in our Italian Constitution the right to vote (art. 48), equal conditions between women and men and equal access to public offices (art. 51).
The event will be held tomorrow, Saturday 20 April, in Corso Umberto I° n. 67, at 6:00 pm.
