With a statement on its official website, the FIP announced that Gianni Petrucci He was released from hospital after the accident a couple of weeks ago. This is the note: “In reference to the car accident involving Giovanni Petrucci last 6 April, the FIP announces that the federal President, who will still have to observe a few more days of convalescence, was discharged this afternoon from the San Camillo Hospital in Rome.

In line with the medical predictions made already in the first hours of hospitalization, the course followed a regular process during which daily improvements were highlighted.”

Petrucci’s words.
“After my resignation from San Camillo in Rome – said Petrucci – I would really like to thank all the staff who provided me with assistance and care in these difficult days. Starting from the timeliness with which the rescuers intervened and airlifted me to the hospital. Since I entered the emergency room I have been able to observe the organisation, courtesy and professionalism of the doctors and nurses. The hardest days were certainly those in intensive care, in the Shock and Trauma Unit directed by Dr. Emiliano Cingolani, but the great competence and humanity of all the staff alleviated my hospital stay without ever making me feel alone. I felt this same feeling once I was transferred to the Emergency Surgery department, where I completed my treatment journey. Having seen up close the high complexity of a hospital like this, in addition to thanking prof. Pier Luigi Marini, director of the Dea, I believe it is right to underline the importance of high-level management, at the top of which, now, is Dr. Narcissus Mostarda”.
