A 13-year-old boy and his 41-year-old mother lost their lives, while the 37-year-old father and husband, who was driving the car, was seriously injured. The accident occurred yesterday afternoon on state road 100 near San Basilio di Mottola, in the province of Taranto, in a stretch that has already been the scene of numerous tragedies. The carabinieri, firefighters and 118 intervened on the spot. The young man from Buonabitacolo, driver of the heavy vehicle, was injured, albeit slightly, and was hospitalized in Castellaneta. The asphalt was slightly slick from the rain. The victims are Inna Aprilova, 41 years old, originally from Bulgaria, and her son Alexander Pastore, 12 years old, goalkeeper in the under 12 team of Asd Calcio Bari.
