The medals are pouring in for the master’s degree of Nuoto Sub Faenza at the 22nd “Città di Molinella” swimming trophy despite only six of them registered: the spoils were in fact 10 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze. The star was Annamaria Chillemi (M45 category) victorious in the 50m breaststroke, 50m freestyle and 200m medley, but Veronica Molnar (M50) also performed excellently, first in the 50m backstroke and 100m medley, Claudia Emma Pasi (M40 ) gold in the 100 breaststroke and 100 medley, as well as in the men’s field by Filippo Mallamaci (M25) ahead of everyone in the 50 and 100 freestyle, Davide Ranieri (M20) winning in the 200 freestyle and second in the 100 freestyle and Dario Montanari (M50) bronze in the 50 freestyle. The next meeting of the Master swimmers is scheduled for Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May at the Multieventi Sport Domus in Serravalle for the 17th San Marino Trophy.

The girls of the Beginners A category, who finished sixth in the region, participated in the Final of the Winter swimming tournament for rookie teams, improving all personal bests. Excellent performances were given by Linda Martelli, second in the 100m breaststroke and third in the 200m breaststroke, and by Alice Bandini, third in the 100m freestyle, but the good fifth place in the ranking was also thanks to Marta Zini, Anna Della Monica, Matilde Zama, Arianna Pini and Chiara Tamburini.
