A cordial meeting to talk about commitment to the territory, growth prospects and sustainability. The president of AMG Energia Francesco Scoma welcomed the CEO of Edison Energia Spa, Massimo Quaglini, who is also executive vice president of the Edison Gas & Power Market division.
Edison is the majority shareholder of AMG Gas srl, a gas and electricity sales company in Palermo, of which AMG Energia holds the minority shares (20 percent). Also present at the meeting were the councilor of the Board of Directors of AMG Energia, Nino Iacono, together with the CEO of AMG Gas, Giuseppe De Pace and the councilor of AMG Gas, Vitale Muia.
Among the topics covered are the commitment to the territory which characterizes the action of AMG Energia – a subsidiary of the Municipality which deals with energy, gas distribution and lighting and the first entirely public utility in Sicily to have achieved ESCo certification – and the possibility to activate levers and synergies that can allow the company new growth prospects in terms of energy transition and sustainability.
“Sicily represents an important and strategic territory for the Edison group where we have operated for years with a sense of responsibility and closeness to the consumer,” said the CEO of Edison Energia, Massimo Quaglini. “AMG Energia is experiencing an important phase of transformation, it wants to grow and is ready to take on new challenges,” declared the president of the investee company, Francesco Scoma.
