SFO2024, Firefighters simulate putting out a forest fire

First scenarios tested by Fire fighters, today, to try to put out a forest fire. In the morning after the initial briefing, in the Army flight area, the teams, divided into groups, boarded the AB412 helicopter and then descended onto the fire scene and prepared a fire line, with fire protection rakes and flame arresters.

The tracked forestry mulcher capable of working on a slope of up to 50% has also been tested: the robomidi, supplied with the controls in the area, is used to cut medium-sized shrubs, create fire roads for prevention or to facilitate the passage of vehicles of assistance. The hydraulically powered vehicle is remotely controlled by the operator.
