Autonomy, Viale (Lega): “Liguria ahead after approval from the Chamber”

“I am very satisfied that the President of the Region, Giovanni Toti, responding today in the Regional Council to my question on how Liguria intends to take action to achieve autonomy as soon as possible, confirmed that our Region will continue along the path without delay, once the relevant law and the Leps have been approved, the examination of which in the Chamber is expected on April 29th. A process that I hope to see concluded as soon as possible, which I started when I was vice-president of the Region and which we shared with the entire Council”. So Sonia Viale, deputy group leader of the League in the Liguria Region.

“Thanks to differentiated autonomy we will have a more efficient administration that is closer to the needs of the territory, freeing up the resources necessary to invest in infrastructure and logistics for the economic and productive development of the region with a return in terms of well-being and jobs. Thank you to autonomy we will also have a regional policy that assumes direct responsibility for its choices in front of the voters, a principle underlying the most modern Western democracies. Bringing home this result, which represents one of the historic battles of the League, is also a nice way – concludes Viale – for celebrate 40 years of our political movement”.
