How does a creative process develop? This is the question we will try to answer together with Eleonora Rossi, as part of the new appointment One thing leads to anotherthe BI-BOx Art Space project curated by Irene Finiguerra which brings the public closer to contemporary art.
The appointment is tomorrow at 5.30pm at the BI-BOx Art Space in via Italia. Eleonora Rossi, visual artist, will present her latest book Visions. Stories of the creative process (Silvana Editoriale, 2023), dedicated to imagination, the tool through which to observe and analyze the creative process of some great visionaries, from which to draw inspiration to trace or strengthen a personal path. Divided into eight stages, it is a guide to develop everyone’s personal creative process, that mysterious path from idea to form, which arises precisely from an inner vision. It is therefore partly a “workshop book”, but at the same time also a collection of stories of famous creatives who have influenced the life and work of the author since adolescence: Patti Smith, Derek Jarman, Louise Bourgeois, Bill Viola , Tracey Emin, Paolo Rosa di Studio Azzurro, Nan Goldin, David Lynch, William Kentridge, Joseph Beuys, Michel Gondry, Leos Carax, Bong Joon-ho. Participation in the meeting is free and it is not necessary to book.
Born in 2021 with the intention of dispelling the prejudice that contemporary art is incomprehensible, from this year the From what arises what project has expanded, proposing meetings in which art is understood as a tool for decoding the contemporary, the lived everyday life and social life.
